Kuzey Kore %45 oranla Çin’e en fazla kömür ihrac ediyor. Çin Avustralya, Endenozya ve Moğolistan’dan da kömür ihrac etse de, içerdiği karbon açısından en kalitelisini Kuzey Kore’den temin ediyor.
19 Şubat 2017’den beri ise Çin Kuzey Kore’den bir yıllığına kömür ithalatını durdurdu. Yaptırımlar kapsamında bunlara deniz ürünleri de ekleniyor.
Böylelikle Kuzey Kore’nin Çin’e ihracatı en az yarı yarıya düşmüş olacak.
